This is a phrase that is heard more and more often in home and mobile electronics recently, So…… Can You Do It Yourself?

While iPods, iPads, and electronics in general may be getting easier to operate, and with add on apps making many things easier to control, there lurks a dark side…..

In order to properly accomplish even the most simple tasks of doing It yourself, one must be proficient in ethernet networking, I.P.’s, CAN-bus Systems, EDID, ECM, BCM, HDMI, 480P, 720P, 1080P and every other “P” in the pod.

Unfortunately the added sophistication of many of these products requires exponential knowledge of the installer to have things exactly perfect, or you can bet on improper operation at the very least, or drastic consequences as a worst case scenario.

We do not necessarily discourage those who wish to tackle these challenges alone, we are keenly aware of the substantial learning curve that lies ahead for those less learned…
